History
The oldest story is linked to Canet de Sagunto. The first historical traces of the population are Roman tombstones with Latin inscriptions. The romanization of Valencia is consumed by the intervention of Sertorius (87-72 BC) On the other hand, Muslim (S. VIII) caused a rapid and intense Islamization of the population, although there remained significant Mozarabs nuclei.
